Window Display 1
For this window display, I wanted to catch the children’s attention with movements. I decided to use a mini theme park as the window display, where the roller coaster would move around and there will be lights on different rides flashing and operating. This may attract children to go into the store to look which would encourage the parents (target market) to go with them to look around the store.
Window Display 2
In this window display, I decided to try something different and mix cartoon from different generation. I used Tom & Jerry which started running from 1940s and minion from Despicable Me from 2010. This would allow the window display to target at the parents and children with the mixture of cartoons from different generation. The display would be placed in the Jack Wills store due to the Jack Wills junior store opening soon. The slogan ‘Jack Wills Now Available for juniors…’ is to explain clearly to customers that Jack Wills are going into a new market which is giving the younger generation the opportunity to wear Jack Wills branded clothing. Lastly, the position of the slogan. Jack wills usually placed their slogan on the middle of the display with gold writing. However, I decided to put it on the bottom with a mutual colour (white) to make the display clearer.
Window Display 3
The third window display is also going to be placed at Jack Wills store. In the window display, all the structure in the mini London are made out of Lego. There are also lights in the buildings and movement of the London-eye. The lights and movement may attract parents and children to visit the store. This also suit the slogan 'Fabulously British' as the display is base around the capital city London. When it comes to special events like Christmas and Easter, the display may add different decorations to go with the theme.
Window Display 4
For the final window display, I filled the window display with colourful balloons. I thought balloons are very suitable for the children in the target market.
On the other hand, I have an alternative idea. I thought it would be interesting if the window display is filled with ball pit because it attracts parents (childhood memories) and children (fun & colourful). However, if i was actually going to make this display, I would use blue and pink balls because the major colours of the mother brand are blue and pink (see image below).
